How many times can a person say, “Best trip ever!!”?

How many times can a person say, “Best trip ever!!”? We had the time of our lives on this bucket list trip of all bucket list trips.

The highlight of this, and the other trips organized by The Winters, is the warm and inclusive environment created by the group.  So many nice, interesting and enthusiastic people to share a new travel experience with. Jane Lee and Larry are so gracious and generous in their trip planning and leadership of the group. They reduce any travel anxiety to near-zero. This travel group was so much fun. We even made a haiku!

The preparation for the trip was outstanding, as usual.  Rachael provided us guidance and advice, even with the part of our trip that we arranged. We love using Pocket Travel. It is a great tool to reduce travel anxiety and confusion.

Lindblad/Nat Geo. Is our favorite way to travel. We love the exotic destinations they offer and the enthusiasm they show toward the animals and environment. The naturalists are just the best, both sharing their findings from the expedition and their overall education of the passengers.  The excursions in Antarctica provided such close-up exposures to penguins, seals, whales and icebergs. We could not have dreamed of a more intimate experience. The ship and crew were super!

Having Larry Winter in the group is always a big plus, as his photographic expertise and enthusiasm to get great shots of the nature, and of our group, really add to the experience. 

The Ritz Carlton Santiago did so many things to enhance our three stays that we can easily forgive them for running out of food on New Year’s Day😂. They helped us with bag storage, transportation, tours.

Our trip to Easter Island was magical! Having lived on a Micronesian island for 3 years in our younger days, Easter Island brought back many unexpected memories of island life.  It is so remote, that it was like going back in time.  Getting up close to the many Moai was a once-in-a lifetime experience.  We got a ton of close up photos.

You have provided us awesome memories for the rest of our lives.
