Paris was Perfect
Our hotel was perfectly located, great staff, convenient breakfast and happy hour, very boutique. We were steps from the shops and restaurants of St. Germaine and an easy stroll to the Notre Dame part of town. We ended up walking to the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre….walking was not an inconvenience, but fun.
The river cruise was one of the highlights of the trip. 120 minutes is probably a little too long but that is the only thing that might make it better for us. The couple that ran the tour were perfect guides, engaged us, fed us and kept our champagne glasses full. The view from the boat was unlike anything on land.
Maybe the most appreciated part of the package was the greeters when we arrived and when we left. All stress was removed. Flew through customs and they worked flawlessly with the drivers. Going home the greeter got us through security, customs, helped us check the bags and then dropped us off at the Admirals Club. A+.
Other notes, we used Uber a couple times……really easy and although we had a list of multiple restaurants, bistros, cafés etc………we found many hidden gems. I wouldn’t change anything we did. We brought euro’s, but ATM’s were plentiful and credit cards pretty much were accepted everywhere.
In summary, can’t wait to go back. Thank you and Carolyn for a perfect trip.
